So I've got a black macbook 13.3". Yeah, it's sorta nice, but very... err, boring. I have windows and mac both installed, and I've customized both to the antarctic and back.
Now, I want to customize the thing itself. It's just a relatively clean black macbook, with nothing else special.
I was thinking of swapping the entire keyboard with a white macbook, and perhaps colorizing the apple logo. I can't think of much else though.
I already have black krylon fusion "satin", but the macbook is already black. I also don't want to spend copious amounts of money.
ALSO! Would the above mention krylon fusion paint adhere well to the back of an iPod?
Well if you can find the white keys, I swapped two Macbooks awhile age for some friends, it's not too hard if you're careful. As far as colorizing your Apple logo, you should go here. The Macbooks aren't too hard to get the back off, just a bunch of plastic clips, so a spudger would be handy!
For the key swap method, I don't think I'll be removing hte key caps; I'll just remove the entire keyboard module by taking the top half of the bottom off, disconnecting the keyboard connector, and swapping that way. Makes it a little easier on those scissorhinges.

I think it should. My laptop that I painted with Krylon Fusion had a ram cover that was made of metal, and the paint is as good on that as on the plastic (it even says on the can that it works on metal). You might want to sand it with some really fine sandpaper first so it'll stick better.
