Should i sell my Dreamcast Collection to buy Saturn stuff?
Ok. I gots another question on my hands. So, should I? usually When I have a collection of stuff I like to sell all of it in order to get a bigger bader collection of other stuff. Just dont ask why. Anyway, I've been checkin out the Saturn games and they look fun and cool. I really love 2d fighters, and Saturns got plenty of amazing fighters. They also got panzer dragoon, shining force 3, dragon force (import), and so on. Do you guys think i should do this? Thanks in advanced!

Well, you can certainly get a pretty sizable collection of Saturn stuff if you sell your Dreamcast collection, but if you're attempting to obtain one for collection-sake, the Dreamcast collection is much more notable and substantial. If you're just looking for some fun stuff to play that you haven't played before, though, Saturn's pickings are pretty slim.

Yeah Saturn is pretty cool. Just be forewarned that a lot of the more popular games (the mentioned Shining Force III, Panzer Dragoon Saga, Saturn Bomberman, Albert Oddessey, etc) you're going to have to drop a pretty penny on. Saturn games are also harder to find complete than Dreamcast games, as Saturn came in those long cd cases rather than Dreamcast's standard cd cases (if that even matters to you).
I would say just keep your Dreamcast and put that $120 you have into saturn now. It's summer so auction prices are a bit lower then in the winter time as normal people are outside enjoying the weather. Once winter rolls around and everyone is stuck inside, prices seem to get higher.

When you are faced with a predicament like this, you should think "Do I prefer the Dreamcast? Or do I prefer the Saturn..? Hmm..." And then, once you've realized which on you prefer, you should go with that one.
Let's go with an example.
Bob, a normal kid, likes video games. But, he LOVES Dreamcast, but he has a Saturn...So he went to the pawn shop (bad idea), sold all his Saturn stuff, and bought a Dreamcast.
Richard on the other hand, has a Dreamcast, but loves Saturn, so he sold his Dreamcast stuff, and bought a Saturn.
The moral of this story is, if you like item A more than item B, you should probably get item A.

I can see why you don't have any of the DC Sonic games, their really hard to come by for a decent price these days. I'm shocked how much people are paying for SA2 on ebay, who's is that stupid enough to pay 20 to 100+ dollars for a plastic disc with bumps on it
. That's why I 'obtained' a copy instead while in wait for a copy to turn up for a decent price.
I'd keep the Dreamcast VV. You can get a saturn and some games for less than 120 bucks and still keep it the DC. One of my friends bought a saturn at a thrift shop once for 30 bucks that came with thirty games, two lightguns and controllers.
The homebrew out there for the DC alone makes it big time worth holding on to.
