Computer heat question

Post by So Many Kinds of Bagels »

Could you use the heat a computer generates? Lol, I just put my feet near the back of my PC and it was warmer, and I thought, like, if you could use all the heat a computer generates instead of discarding it, that would be awesome.

:D

If your feet are constantly cold, you could either get a duct to direct the air to your feet, or if you have watercooling for your computer, turn the radiator into a warm plate to rest your feet on. Or if you have a super computer, you could do the same on a larger scale, and use the heat as a furnace or water heater replacement.

Just try to find an air duct and some of that duct tape and go at it. But if you need to go anywhere with it, you'll need to fix something up.
