did anyone else notice the massive ammounts of lines on the screen after they folded it? its flexible but probably still pretty fragile and also low res like 120x160 i think it was. give it a few years and we will be good to go lol

If that works like the other film thin LCD screen I've read about it requires power to change the screen, and with a refresh rate of 50-60Hz that's fairly often and so I don't know how much power could be saved. The original use for the screens I'm thinking of were for e-books, as you don't need a high refresh rate.

I believe these are OLED, which consumes different power based on how many pixels are lit(more black=less power used), and require power constantly to display an image. I don't think these will save much more power than the current screens we have. However, being a fraction of thickness will allow much thinner portables.
