Nights for Wii rumors CONFIRMED

Yup, just check Sega's web site for a game page. Sega Studios USA is programming the game as a Wii exclusive.

that's great news! nights rocked, and I was thinking a second one on wii was mostly a rumor. now let's hope they do like the first time and come out with a cool controller to play it with. kidding

It's good to see nights back. sure there have been timetrial minigames and pinball tables in the years after the saturn nights, but what the world needs is a nice, solid nights II. Wait a second...it's a wii title...is it going to be yet another minigame collection, or a proper game?

Wow, it's Wii's first game that isn't:

1) a port
2) a game involving Mario or Zelda
3) a shake yo booty party game

Besides SSX Blur and Red Steel your pretty much right lol. Can't wait till NiGHTS comes out.

Wii is just a fad everyone will stop caring when they relies it is not that great. The one and only thing it has is that controller, and bag graphics. Ither way I am sticking to PC.

Maybe you will some day come to the understanding that bad spelling is also just a fad.

This thread isn't about whether the Wii is good or not. It is about a sequel to a kickass game thats coming out. keep it on topic or gtfo

yay for ignorant fanboyism! the graphics are great in my opinion, if it was n64 quality i would agree with you but its superior to last gens so you are wrong! i 100% disagree that it is a gimmick but i digress. YAY! i am very excited that a new nights game is coming out for wii!

Yay, the saturn is avenged! Although I'm not sure what to do. After playing Sonic and the Secret Rings, Sega has once again made themselves a medicore game maker, no offense to fans to SatSR...but, I just couldn't control Sonic like an excite truck...Maybe Nights on the Wii is a foreshadowing of awesome potential...or crap waiting to be crapped out.

I think Wii graphics is about on par with GC graphics, which still look excellent.

I was never a big fan of NiGHTS really, but i've not seen one reason to change my mind about a 360 and buy a Wii.

As long as Sonic Team doesn't touch it, it may be kinda good- maybe. Such a sad few years it has been for the beloved creators of classic Sonic games...

I think the last Sega game I really enjoyed was Skies of Arcadia. Good stuff there.

There's been a few more that weren't emulated. Elebits comes to mind. Not very many though.

I'm looking forward to a new NiGHT's game coming out. I'll definitely add it to the collection when I get my weeeeeeeeee. Anyway yea, I dreamed I got a WII last night. I was mad when I woke up.

Just so you know, The wii can't have bad graphics, because you have to compare it to the last system of its kind(GC). Its graphics are better than the gc's.

What makes graphics bad anyways? What would define that?

I think most people aren't comparing wii to GC, but rather to other 'systems of its kind.' Meaning the current gen game systems. It's an obvious comparison that will be made for years, no matter how much nintendo tells us we shouldn't because they're not a big $$ system--they are we really should compare them.

I really don't see much difference in graphical power between the last two nintendos. That could either be due to a lackluster launch lineup or the wii could just be a total dog. They're not bad, IMO nothing DC or after has been bad, but it certainly doesn't have anything especially interesting to look at yet.

come to think of it, I don't recall actually liking the first nights much, I was mainly in love with the smooth, responsive control, and the new controller.

This game is gonna flop hard. I hate to say it but Sega hasn't exactly been doing all that great recently. And the original guy isn't working on it....

NiGHTS for Wii is to NiGHTS for Saturn will be like Starship Troopers 2 was to Starship Troopers.(Either way, much like Starship Troopers 2[and soon 3] I'm gonna buy it)

Well to contradict myself... I also hope this game does well cause if not, it'll be another Sega franchise that's gone down the crapper. They really don't have much to stand on right now.
