Heh, it doesn't count because it's not entirely portable: no batteries! :P

Hmm.... Fine, a SMALL teaser to come later tonight! Very Happy Just because you all asked so nicely. Laughing

Oh, and one thing: I am going to be using the SNES action buttons as my brightness/volume control (looks badass Razz ) and I wanted to get your guys's opinion on something. Should I align it so the brightness is dark purple and the volume is light purple, or should I have dark purple be brightness/volume down and light purple be brightness/volume up? Kinda like this:

Option 1:
O O O O

Option 2:
O O O O

Take your pick!

Option 1 looks better, but if option 2 was reversed (so the dark purple is +) it might look good too...

Yea I agree with Rell, a reversed option 2 just looks more pleasing to the eye. (IMO) BTW I cant wait to see this Wii P

Yeah, I'm thinking Option 2 with reversed colors as well. Without switched colors it makes more sense, but swapped colors looks better, so take you pick, either's awesome!

yeah because the lighter color represents lower, while the darker more. But yeah either option 1 or the reversed option 2 both are nice.
SNESp - 100%
Protable X - 15% - I need money :(

Okay, after dinking around with a mock-up, I decided to use the revised option 2 button layout, it just looks nicest with the design I have for this. :D

Well, about 2 months ago I would have agreed; however, G-Force's new PSP changed that! If he can do it with PSOne buttons, SNES is not that big a stretch; besides, they fit quite nicely, and I was able to drill the holes to accomadate them with no trouble at all.

And about those pics, I can't give you any tonight, sorry. :( I was going to snap off a couple pics with this layer of paint before I got back to sanding the final layer, but for some reason this project has turned me into a bit of a perfectionist... Not to mention the fact that I stupidly bought Krylon Fusion Gloss paint instead of Satin. For some reason, the satin always turns out silky smooth with a nice sheen, but the glossy is always just too thick feeling and tacky, even after it's dry. Long story short, I'm picking up the proper paint tomorrow after school. Oh, and if it helps, it's white.

So, I'm fine-sanding the last layer on the main plastic pieces tonight, and I'll throw a layer of primer on it before I hit the hay so it's ready to lay the paint down as soon as I get home. I'm thinking that if I work my ass off, I can have this baby 100% completed by tomorrow night, or I can take it easy and finish it off on Friday. Problem is, I leave for Florida EARLY Saturday morning (like, 4AM early) so I'd have little time to fix any kinks (should there be any) if I were to finish Friday. So count on seeing this thing done tomorrow night! :D
