Quick question (and help please)

Post by phantumdude »

Ok, my mom says that I can get an xbox 360 for my birthday, and she is being nice and paying $300 of it. (Woo-Hoo!) I was wondering where I can get the best deal because I need to pay for the wireless adapter (and hopefully gears of war) because we have a wireless network. I have been saving up and have 200$ so far. Thanks in advance.

Circuit City has a GOW bundle for the hefty price of $529. I don't know how much all this stuff is seperately.

360 GOW Bundle
Its an ok deal.
$400 for 360
$60 for GOW
$50 for extra controller
$~40 for play & chargers
$550 total, I'd say go for it if you want 2 controllers and the chargers. If not, used is your friend.

If you can give up a PS2, Xbox or something like that I'd say go to Game Crazy. They offer a $75 value for system trade in when it's being used for a system. I did that with my Xbox and it took a decent chunk out of the price. Also if you're not playing or planning to play any Xbox games (requires the HDD) just turn those it. It's pointless in keeping something you're not using.

It's a shame you didn't ask last week. Circuit City was offering a free Wireless controller when you buy a 360 game.
