Flaps? Just take the rubber feet off, and find the 2 screws under the stickers, and take them out. Google the rest, I type too slow.

If you can't figure out how to open it I suggest that you don't try to make it into a laptop because you'll probably screw it up.

That is a good point, give up now and start with something easier, like a NOAC.
