Thrift Store Deals ITT
Summer has come and gone, and Yardsale season is officially over. With man's yearing for exceptional deals, one turns to the almighty Thrift Stores; Goodwill, Salvation Army, and Value Villlage (for you lucky Canucks).
Anyway I loved the Yardsale Deals Thread and Jeffslot's yardsale blog; this is basically the same thing. Post your deals!
Yesterday I got Draconus: Cult of the wyrm ($1.99) for DC for Winter Olympics ($.99) for Genesis.
Today I got a SNES with n64 hookups and controllers ($19.99) and Virtua Fighter 4 Evolution Sealed ($4.99), with 30% off my entire purchase.

I used to get all of my atari stuff at the local Value Village, turned Bargain World. There was always this one, and it always had tons of electronics. It was just starting to get nintendo parts in, but they were still a little too spensive at the time.
It was right when they were getting rid of all of the Value Villages...

Do you by chance know the rarity of the different color dreams games? I saw Kings of Kings and Bible Adventures today, but both were black carts.

yeah I guess I needed to be more specific on what I meant, e.g. 100,000 king of kings games made, 70,000 black cart and 30,000 light blue or whatever.Triton wrote:according to the rarity guide bible adventures is a B+ rarity and worth about 7$ king of kings is a B and worth about 6
I checked into it after I posted, seems for Bible Adventures the black cart is more common than the blue one that you have, and on King of Kings
its a label variant and not different colored carts.
haha get ready to pay through the nose for that game. Only $4,000 on ebay (even though it's most likely a joke auction for press, it still counts).Triton wrote:also if anyone has 6 in 1 (myriad) i want it!
Haha want to race to a complete North American NES collection? I should really start its own thread about it instead of asking in random topics.
There was a few SS6 games I really loved. Put tons of time in on both of the Battle Clash games.
