That was its intention. Or so what I've read has lead me to believe anyway.typamc95 wrote:In a sense,It is already a portable!

I had a 3do portable concept, then I realised it'd cost too much to find a 3do to sacrifice, as mine certainly isn't going anywherejones wrote:Well I do have a 3DO which I could understand someone wanting a portable of (stay away Ben!).

The Virtual Boy was never intended to be portable, and I don't think it can be portablised.jones wrote:That was its intention. Or so what I've read has lead me to believe anyway.typamc95 wrote:In a sense,It is already a portable!
It does look awfully portable, but don't be fooled by appearences. The thing only has one screen that is made to look like two by a repidly occilating mirror (or something like that, I haven't read on it in awhile). Because of that, you can't really play it on the go or even carry it around that much because the mirror would chip.
I think a Vboy could be portable if the tripod was ditched and instead elastic, adjustable straps, or maybe some sort of helmit were used to fasten it to your head, then it could work. But I can't see out of my right eye, have no depth perception, and therfore a Vboy is completely unconventional and useless to me.
And I think it might be a Saturn or a Master System
