it looks... empty.

i don't think there is a present backlight... will it run?

Maybe if I had some pictures... what did you mean by empty? Did the guy who sold it to you take the guts out and just give you an empty case or is something else wrong? I am confused.. :?

I don't see a ribbon cable...is it attatched to the lcd?

Then uh, plug that into the back of the PCB... And those two wire sets to the PCB slots.

I thought it was underneath the metal frame. But I also dont see the backlight wires. Unless you're not showing the thing, I'd say you need to LED mod your screen. You'd be currently getting problems because there is no backlight to illuminate the screen. If this is the case, make shure it is working by either LED modding it or putting it under a light to see an image.

(BTW: the pictures above are Huge! thank god for adelphia, sorry dialup users)

I think there's no light box because I can see the ribbon cable through the LCD (and a light box would block that…)

oops, i was going to build a NESp so i put it here...

i dont have a PSOne so i cant test it...

it was sold with parts missing...

is somthing missing that is required for it to run?

Yeah, the cathode tube (that generates light) and the light box (that spreads the light evenly so that the screen looks good) are missing. Without a cathode tube, you can do the LED mod, but without a light box, you're dead in the water.
