I sold my DS for it's lack of ANY RPGs, let alone good ones. Here's the reason I may be buying a DS Lite very soon:

The trailer looks SWEET! Definitely some of the best DS graphics yet. Now for all you FF fans, I know what you may be thinking; FFIII was pretty much a souped up version of 1, no? Well from the looks of the trailer, your characters now actually have.......dialogue! Now I'm torn.....use my money to start that N64p of mine, or scrap the idea for a DS Lite? By the way, have you Lite owners been happy so far?

I can give you a second-person account for the coolness of the DS Lite, since I know Nintendo staff personally and have LAN parties with them and whatnot, and they all have Lites.

The Lite is, incredible. All the stuff that looked amazing on the internet (like the "Winner with froot loops" video) don't do the Lite justice. It's much better seen in person. One Lite owner kinda reinacted the "Winner with Froot loops" video for me to get a real-life comparison, and the brightnes, the colors, I practically had a nerdgasm. After playing a lite you'll never want to go back.

The DS lite is good, But it gets smudges on it easily.

EDIT: FF3, looks great.. BUT
The Girl in a picture has grey Hair.. Its a Cinamatic Picture, then in gameplay she has blondehair....

No sence of fashion or hair colors?

Its about time the graphics start looking remotely like N64's. I'm considering getting a DS lite with my brother (kinda doubt I will), but I also saw a GC w/ 2 controllers, 2 games, and a mem card for $50, so I might get that.

Didn't you know about FF3? It's been in the works for like years now, almost the whole reason I've been wanting a DS, especially considering FF3 is the only FF game not offically translated to english, meaning there was no way I was ever playing it.(getting a Japanese game playing snes and then importing the game would be waaaay to much money for me)

September 12, eh...

Did you guys hear about how they're gonna get an internet cartrege for the Lite? It was on google news, and thats comming out at the end of the year. TV for the Lite(with mini entena) is supposed to come out this summer, but i doubt it.

I think there will be a tv antena, I saw it on a video but I don't know when it will come out. Internet access would be great, I might even get one if/when that comes out so that I don't get yelled at for being on the computer all day.

The TV antenna will also work in the Normal DS, as Everything made for the DS lite is Compatible with the Original DS.

Yeah, I've known about it for a while, seeing as it's been in NP since before the DS came out; but in the screenshots, it basically showed a DS running FFIII original, no updated graphics. I actually saw the trailer for this a while back, I just thought I'd clue you guys in

Internet on the Lite, eh? Is this the multimedia adapter by Play-Yan, or is this something completely different?
