S-video is really easy, I asume you want to make a cable? Heres how to make one.

Image

1. First of all you need 3 RCA jacks (get a a Yellow, White and Red one just so you don't screw it up) and a 410 pF pot (I think thats what there called... a pot.... ya....maby).

2. Connect the Video Ground to the ground on the Yellow RCA jack (The outside one). Then take the Audio Ground, split it and attach one wire to the White RCA jack ground pin and the other to the Red RCA jack ground pin.

3. Connect the Audio R to the Red RCA jack center pin. Then connect the Audio L to the White RCA jack center pin.

4. Take the Video C and connect it to the 410 pF pot, then connect the Video C to the Video Y wire and the connect that wire to the Yellow center pin.

Wala, I don't have a GP2x, so I really can't test it, but thats what the pic says to me.

i plan on building a breakout box of sorts, an addon for the gp2x, it will have 3 usb ports, one specifically for usbwifi and it will have composit jacks for tv out. i have it all figured out too, will have an addon 4 AAs that go on the back.

Well the above explanation works still, just use Female RCA jacks instead of Male. That way you can just plug in a Male to Male cable.

lol, just as I suspected, I was gonna say something but then I thought, if I mix something up, it could cause your GP2x to explode.... (not really but i'm not gonna be responsible :P )

Your also gonna need this, to make the VUSB...

Looks like the bigest problem is geting that DC to DC converter that upscales from 3.3V to 5V

Sounds really great, if you do actually make this can you please make some sort of tutorial. Also instead of 4 aa's could you not tap into the 5v+ from the usb cable?
Meh... So I don't post much?
