Article on gaming?

I need somed help from you guys *gasp*; I'm looking for this one article directed towards next-gen (future) gaming. It speaks about poor gameplay, AI, uninteresting boxes (used as map fillers) and the like. Can anybody point me in the right direction? I need it for something really important. Did I mention it's important?

The article you seek is A Gamer's Manifesto. I remember reading it when it was on slashdot as well.

That article is really good. It mainly talks about how gameplay has dropped, or not improved at all, in quality over the years.
I got to looking around, and there's a lot of fun reading on there. Even "Matrix" bashing!
