psp music problems

I'm having problems running music on my psp. I copy the song and paste it in the music folder on my psp's memory stick, but the psp says there aren't any tracks. Does anyone know the problem? Would it be a problem that I took the song from i-tunes?

i-tunes encrypts the music to work only on your computer. You'll need a program to convert it to a normal MP3. (This is a gray area.)

Or, you can burn said songs and then re-rip them as mp3's.....

Or you could use two computers with an audio cable running between them...
