The Good, The Bad...and The Ugly...

Post by gannon »

The Good: I found a SNES clone
The Bad: Not sure if it's a full replication circuit or just a chip (hoping the later)
The Ugly: To get it from China would cost $67.75
I should really get a job :P

Isn't that the mini snes? Or is it a clone because it has engraved SNES on the front?

Except for the power and reset butons, and the odd logo (looks a bit fake) it looks exactly like a SNES mini. Are you sure they aren't trying to rip you off? If this is the real deal, then more than likely more SNESOAC's will come, and hopefully be cheaper!

The "SNES" on the unit looks like it was cheaply photoshopped on :\

Guys is anything electronic from china (directly) cheap? Yes. You take the good with the bad. If they offer that SNES or SNOAC for a lower price, manybe in bulk, it would be something good to try out.

I'd say look around for an SNES clone that is under $50. No point in buying something that might not be what you/we want and lose all that money.

gannon: Is this the well-known SNES2 clone (non-SNOAC) or have you found another version from a different site? If you don't have the funds to buy one, please share the link so somebody else can.

From the picture you posted it looks like the well-known one.

I have read on the internet that there are pirate SNES minis around on ebay, but its definitely not all on one chip. The board is pretty much the same size.

If somebody today could tell me if there is a difference between the board on the mini and the clone mini, there's one that's going for 10$ ending tomorow. (Although it comes with some pretty decent games and will probably go for a lot more)
The following titles come with the system 1. Super Mario World 2. Home Alone 2 3. Donkey Kong Country 2 - Diddy's Kong Quest 4. Super Game Boy adapter 5. The original NBA Jam 6. Michael Jordan - Chaos in the Windy City 7. Stanley Cup Hockey 8

(Or is this a real one that's just stretched? I don't know really, I'm too n00b to tell.)
Hey, sup?
