is this an ldo http://www.rc-cam.com/dc-dc.htm its 7v to 5v and i could use 7. would this be efficient?

theoretically the resistors would work, i wasn't gonna use those numbers. to tell you the truth i just hate integrated circuits, chips, transistors, and what not. they make me feel like i cant do it myself. i suppose i will use the 7805, especially since charging the not dead batterys often will ...

that thing is awesome. you know, "fake" snes boards could be a very good thing. if it could reduce size then it has great portable potential.

i didn't know resistors wasted energy. im am also concerned with heating because my case is very small. i was hoping to do this:

well, wouldn't it affect resistance witch affects current which affects voltage? but thats to complicated. what resistor would i need to use. i cant do it by myself cause summer robed me of math ability.

i thought they affected amps

could a noac (im usin neo-fami) run on 7.5 volts. i doubt it but would simplify my project a ton!
