7.2v li-ion batteries are rated 9v because they can go as high as 9.6v on a fresh charge, but goes as lower than 5v when deplited and close to damage.

ben had 6 li-ion batteries in is ps2p. that's 2 in series and 3 in parallel. So the ps2 will run on 7.4v?

I have six 3.7v 6500mah li-poly cells so I have a chioce of a 7.4v 19500mah battery(2s3p) or a 11.1v 13000mah battery(3s2p). which one will be safer for the ps2? if both, which one might last longer?

question for sonic, I noticed you ran the ps2 off an 8.4v 54000mah battery and a 11.1v 4000mah battery. how much play time did you get out of each?
