Yeah SJ's use 4 AA's but I'm not going to be powering this by battery. The power board brought the 9v wallwart down to 5 so I figure I should. I'm quite new to electronics but doesn't the 7805 protect against some amount of power fluctuation? I think they are rated 7v-35v while I would bet 35v would ...

NOAC Power Regulation?
I'm building a Super Joy III NOAC into a standard project enclosure and I need to know how the power regulator should be built. I have what seems to be the original power supply (4.8v 100mA) though it measures 8.35v. It's going to be attached like this: http://img158.imageshack.us/img158/6348 ...

NOAC Power Regulation?
