Hi guys! I'm a nooby at portabilizing, but have been reading about portablizing on benheck for about 2 months now. I really like Sifuf's n64p as much as everyone else, and I do know that he's a very experienced portabalizer, but I was wondering exactly how much of the 64 motherboard can be cut off ...

Take out the game. Take out the jumper/expansion pak, and put it back in. Now turn the N64 on without a game, just the jumper pak, for 5 seconds or so. Then pop a game in and it should work.

Well there is basically a white flash in the middle of the screen like it is trying to get video, but then nothing else happens. Also, there is no sound when it powers on. This is exactly what I think G-Force experienced in the Troubleshooting your N64 thread. And to answer collinE I took the jumper ...

I guess I should have been more specific. The systems I have are powered by the power cord, and are still hooked up to the T.V. I have my Psone Screen but I haven't attempted to connect the 64 to it until I have found why it isn't getting its AV. Also, the power stays on so I don't think they are ...
