well I fixed the flickering it was just a loose power connection to the screen. the video still doesn't work, all i see is a dark screen. I checked the ground wires i'm pretty sure there all in the right places, and I did make the video amp circuit.

I'm using a regular NES

The nes has always worked fine, and it is geting the right voltage.
(but still doesn't work right)

I'm almost finished with my NESp, but when I powered it up last night, I could see the screens brightness/volume bars. All the screen would do is flicker, so I made sure all the wires were going to the right spot but it still didn't work. I would be grateful for any suggestion on what the problem ...

one more question (didn't want to start a new thread), I just relized that I bought a 47k resistor instead of a 48k for the controller board. does this matter?

I was soldering on a regulator the other day, when all of the sudden all the leads and the solder touching the leads turned completely white. does that mean that I fried the regulator?

I don't know how much resistance my 5-minute epoxy has but the resistor is 10ohm's

does anyone know if you can put epoxy on a resistor?

when i looked i couldn't find one (i didn't look very hard though).

while i'm at it does any body know if dreamcast ever made a network adapter?

i look at a game that i bought off ebay the other day and i saw that it came with one. so i guess i will just look at how that one is configured and try doing it like that.
