How do you add pics?

What about through connector with the wires instead of a ribbon cable? Cuz I just tried it with one of the older screens. The picture kinda showed but it looked really crappy.

was just fiddling with some old LCDs my brother had and am wondering if i could buy or build converter to plug in my N64's video cable to the LCD directly, like through the ribbon cable.
