Uh oh, now I've done it! My SNES is all screwed up. It won't work when I plug the original DC in and it actually turns on once in every 50 tries with my batteries. I must have screwed something up bad. HELP!

Ok, I'm trying to build a system that will switch video and audio inputs and outputs (from snes and screen) on and off. I'm thinking of using a transistor so that I can switch all three wires on and off at the same time but I'm not sure what kind to use! Any ideas?
