I am about to embark on my first region switch mod for my md1 but i have an idea about linking an led to each region when they are in the relevant position to show which region the console is set to (as well as the position of the switch)
so my question is - HOW? or IS IT POSSIBLE?

ah,but the challenge of my project is to use original technology or at least appear to and there is no way im chopping up a cdx.i have a plethora of mcds and mds to cannibalise but i really need to save space.

SMALLEST MCD COMPATIBLE MD BOARD (RADICA/GEN3/ATGAMES)
Does anyone have any info on the smallest megadrive/genesis board that is mega-cd compatible.
Trying to shoehorn the two consoles into one small box isnt working with md2 board.
Unfortunately the mcd1 drive arrangement is huge and i dont know of any alternatives (mcd2 not an option).
