Wired controller hook up to vista

How exactly would I go about hooking up an xbox 360 controller to a pc with vista? Could someone link to a decent guide for me? I plan on using it for counter strike source.

Re: Wii Disc Drive error

Please don't quote me on this, because I can't say it will be the solution to your problem, but experiment with some of your game discs and see if they will read if you adjust the position of the Wii. Just never move it while it's attempting to read, can't say the Wii is like the 360, but disk ...

Re: Wii Disc Drive error

I really want a flatmii, but I can't really justify paying 48 bucks for a little pcb with magic smoke inside of it. Games appear to be working fine now, but now that I've taken it apart, is there anything I should add or change before I put it back together?

Re: Wii Disc Drive error

Okay took it apart checked the ribbon cable and it was loose. pushed it in, and it works again. MP3 still fails after 14 minutes or so. Testing smash bros(gc version) now. It was one of the games that didn't work in the past.

Re: Wii Disc Drive error

I bought a lens cleaning disc and ran it for what seemed like a million times, popped in Metroid Prime 3 and it did the whole "Error, please do something and consult the manual that you threw away months ago" after about 13 minutes of play. Currently testing other games to see if they fail too, if I ...

Wii Disc Drive error

My Wii's disc drive has been acting up lately, the first time it happened was in Metroid Prime 3 (great game) and it says "disc error blah blah blah" After that it started happening more and more, but only in prime 3! Then one day in the middle of wind waker it gives me a disc error. I pop in every ...

HUZZAH! It worked. I read up on dosbox, installed windows 3.1, and IT RUNS! But there is no sound. I installed sound drivers as instructed here ----------> http://vogons.zetafleet.com/viewtopic.php?t=9405
and when I start windows 3.1 it plays a sound like the first few milliseconds of a startup ...

I cannot tell you how often that happens to me. Also, I just installed it on my laptop, which has no service packs, and it works, but on this one with SP3, it doesn't.
