I originally decided to combine the sp and the controller (cases) together, but I might try the two halves... it seems much easier.

A button is nothing more than a switch with two wires that only activates a circuit when you press it. Both the Playstation controller and GBA SP have similar buttons. Just solder wires to the SP motherboard so the PSX button is in parallel with the SP buttons.

Issue: Gameboy advance SP. Best version of the GBA. But it feels awkward to hold, especially if you have big hands.

Idea: Get a comfortable controller, and integrate the GBAsp into it. The most comfortable controller (in my opinion) is any of the Playstation controllers.
