I have successfully backed up and reinstalled linux so everything works fine!

is there any way to back up the data i have saved on the linux partition even though i cant access linux or will i have to lose that data?

Ok so Ive been dual booting xp and OpenSUSE for the last few weeks and everything has been fine.
but now after i was forced to reinstall xp, The computer doesn't recognize i have two OS installed and it just boots up xp.
Does anyone know how to fix this?
