Well nevermind, I think mine is fried. I wanted to have composite out but it doesn't work without the video controller, and for some reason RGB doesn't work either.

InterAct Gamecube Screen. Found pinouts, but need help.

Ok so I have this screen:

How do I do the pinouts? I've never done anything like modifying a screen so I don't know how I'm supposed to do this. Do I just get a 12v adapter for the wall and just cut and strip it?

First of all, forget using anything from a laptop. I've been working on my own Xbox Laptop recently and I know for a fact that you can't use anything from a laptop besides the HDD, and you still have to get a 40 to 44 pin ribbon cable adapter. If you want a slimmer DVD drive, just find one of those ...

IDE cable? What do you mean by that? Well I finally found out it is called a Flat Flex Cable. I think I found the correct one on Ebay, but I'm gonna have to contact the seller before I order it.

Regular LCD screen: What can I possibly do? (Pics) 56k = Bad

I have this 9.8" LCD screen from Sharp and after disassembling it, I found that the ribbon cable connecting it to this chip that controls the screen broke. I think this ribbon cable not only powers the actual LCD, but it controls and sends video to it as well. The Cathode Power Plug is separate from ...

I'm currently building an Xbox laptop, so I've been researching LCD Screens. I can't really afford this one myself right now, but if you wanna save some money, CompUSA has this 17" LCD for $139.99 after Rebates:

Wow! It seems that you are taking on the same project I am. =P Do you think you could give me some pointers? I've decided to use a 9.8" screen since I can't really find a cheap solution for a 15+ inch LCD TV screen. But I noticed you used a Computer Monitor. How do you actually do that? Did you use ...

As far as putting an OS on the system, I'm sure there are websites with the specific information you need. Hardware stuff, then stick around here. What sort of heatsink/fan combo does your XBox have? Does it feel really hot when you run it?

I have the hardest time cutting plexiglass. Some methods ...

Original Xbox Laptop Idea... and questions.

I've been looking into this whole Xbox Laptop scene recently, and right now I can't really drop close to $1000 just to get a 360, a monitor, and parts to make one. Not to mention I am quite scared of the level of my skills to flatten the motherboard and recreate the heat sink.

So I figured, well ...
