well i tried a lot of games so i dont think its that they're dirty. the NES ones worked straight off. Im in Europe but presumably that doesn't matter... I'm using an american-EU adapter. I'm sticking them in with the label facing forward...

There IS a way to test to see if Duck Hunt is liked by the Retro Duo or not. You can at least see if you can use a controller in port 1 to control the duck's movements.

It might not have been intentional, but it is/was a way of making the game harder ...

Incidentally, for anyone wanting a good laugh today. The company Slackers has decided to sell the Retro Duo for $79.99 and is telling customers they should make reservations as it is an extremely rare system and sells out almost immediately. :shock: :lol: :roll:

LOL, I fixed it... it was an on the fly cut-n-paste post before ...

Maybe I missed it on here already, but there is a Famicom adapter for the DS. Maybe someday someone will also make a Super Famicom attachment as well... (and maybe get rid of the darn region lockouts too...)

This conflicts with the email I received from VideoGameCentral.com today, stating that the Retro Duo plays Battletoads with no troubles.
