Is it easier to make a new portable from a Nomad than a Genesis (1/2 or 3) ? I'm thinking bout doing it but never done anything like that, a screen replacement should be relatively simple (by simple I mean less difficult than a total build) right? I was wanting something around the size of a Nomad ...

in £'s if possible. I could supply the dreamcast, just wondering how much it would cost to have one commissioned?

For a genesis portable surely you could use the motherboard from a Nomad, give it a bigger screen, some brightness and contrast controls, redesign the button layout and a rechargeable battery and then play Genesis games on the train?
