I have a 3v 650mAH car adapter. Is that too little to power the 3.3v needed on the n64? I know that it usually runs on 1.2-1.5 amps but I'm sort of desperate.

So frustrating...

I think the screen not working was because that battery wasn't giving it enough "juice". So anyways, I plugged it into the wall and it works. But to my surprise, the screen is all wavy and the colors are really saturated. Here's a picture.
