WTB: Dreamcast (parts and consoles)

Hi,
I'm in the process of portabilizing a Dreamcast, but somehow I managed to fry my laser assembly (or at least I think that's what happened, the red laser sometimes shines and sometimes doesn't, and the game starts once every 100 times).
Now I'm looking for a complete Dreamcast (just to make sure ...

WTB Dreamcast REV2

Hi,
I'm planning on making a portable Dreamcast, and so far I've been working on a V1 motherboard with the GDRom controller board that needs to be relocated.
I've heard that V2 Dreamcasts don't have the GDRom controller board, and that should make my life easier.
So if anybody has a WORKING V2 ...

Re: PSOne Screen flickering/won't turn on with 9.6V NiCd battery

I never said it was efficient!
I don't see much difference with using a 7808 though, apart from the fact that a 7808 always gives out 8V (if the input is in the correct range), while this just takes away a certain amount of volts from the input. They are both getting rid of the excess voltage ...

Re: PSOne Screen flickering/won't turn on with 9.6V NiCd battery

Well, you COULD always use 2 diodes instead of 3 or test it a little before...

Re: PSOne Screen flickering/won't turn on with 9.6V NiCd battery

I'm gonna suggest something that isn't the best path to follow (quick and dirty 8) ), but which can work (I've done it in the past, but never tried it with something using 1A)...
Why don't you just wire 3 diodes in series between the screen and the battery?
The voltage drop would be about 0.7V each ...

Re: Project: My PSone Portable

I didn't mean to sound as if I wanted to force you into something you don't feel "right" doing, since I believe some people have a "sixth sense" for scammers! :D
I was just trying to give you an idea in case you hadn't thought about it.
That said, you are probably doing the right thing, when ...

Re: Project: My PSone Portable

I'm gonna throw an idea here for the payment to be made through paypal...
Why don't you, bacteria, send a request for payment through paypal to omgitsthebishop? You can specify the exact amount in the correct currency, and maybe even check the box "services" so that no shipping should be expected ...

I have no idea on what "slate blue" is...
Anyhow, I was looking for an "electric blue" I guess, not really a dark one...
About the extra, 5-10$ was the bare minimum I had in mind, considering the time you'd spend... Now the big question mark is the shipping cost: let's try and see how much ...

That is EXACTLY what I'm looking for.
I was looking for flat black, blue and red, in this order of importance.
I was thinking 1, 2 or 3 cans total, depending on the price of the single can and on the shipping costs, assuming you are from the USA... I can send a few dollars now to your paypal account ...

WTB Vinyl Die

Hello everybody,
It's been a while since my last message here...
I want to paint my xbox 360 controllers different colours, but I don't want to paint them with something that easily comes off... I read about vinyl dies (http://alcaron.blogspot.com/2006/12/noir-360-wireless-controller.html) which mix ...

Just looked at an approximate shipping cost, and I guess I'll have to withdraw my offer... Damn international shipping! 40$ is the bare minimum... If anybody knows of cheaper ways to ship, let me know, otherwise, on to the next bidder...

Can I get more info on the lcds? What inputs do they accept? Screen size? Voltage required to run them? Still interested, but I need more specs...

Any news from Triton on the LCDs? And how much would the shipping to Italy be? Do the screen accept composite input only?

I guessed on the weight, I found that it would probably be at least $20-30. Unless PSPs cost a lot over there, it might not be worth it.

If they are 20-30$, it's probably not worth it. PSPs here ARE expensive but I expect prices to drop a little after Christmas.
I'll keep looking...
Thanks ...

Do you have any specs for the lcds? If Triton isn't interested, I still might be.
