Well, I was going to add pics, but I don't think I can post attachments? I don't really have a place to host pics. Any ideas? I think the VGA idea may be out, theres a LOT of little wires on this sucker.

Ok, after looking at it some more, I've counted the harnesses. The pastel one has 27 ( ) little wires, plus a main ground. It also has a lable wrapped around it, "Compaq Computer Corp. Z0094" and a barcode. The other, coming off the small dimmer board, has 5 white, 5 black, and 1 red wires ...

Well, I had intended to run it off the car's electrical system, but now that I've gone over some dimensions it turns out it won't fit in the dash. Just too big  but I'm thinking about it as a secondary monitor for my laptop.

Unusual LCD screen, little help?

Hey everyone, I just happened to stumble across what could be a great LCD screen, if I can figure out how to wire it. We had a compaq internet terminal laying around in a closet (they don't offer service/support for it anymore so it's useless at this point). So I got the brilliant idea to take it ...

Lol, yeah, I thought about the coin thing. But by the time I have it done I'll be in an apartment, so no dice. I'm really just building this for my own personal entertainment, and maybe a little wow factor when I have guests. While it would be really easy just to mount the SNES to the control panel ...

It'll be manual. Jukebox style would be incredible, but I feel it would be an unnecessary amount of initial work and too difficult to maintain. I plan to keep this thing for a looooong time, preferably in working order :D

Cool idea though.

SNES Anti-portable...

Hey everyone, just thought I'd introduce myself. Name's JD, I'm an engineering student at Purdue. I found these boards today while looking for some cart slot relocation info, and thought I'd join. This post is just kind of a teaser for my upcoming project. Thanks to info provided by a few members ...
