That High Speed sh!t is just a marketing strategy, but who knows, maybe you DO get more speed (wtf do I care ?) . The Point is that it needs to be a PRO DUO. Why ? Because of the golden pin contacts (I think) and the internal architecture.

It has also been confirmed to work with 64 MB Pro Duos not ...

Dark_Alex released the 3rd version of Pandora yesterday (I think) which contains a major update: SCREEN DRIVER FOR THE PSP SLIM. No more guessing what the PSP is doing. So you're no longer in the dark when you do your thing, and it will also install 3.71 M33-2 (the second update of 3.71 M33).

Hope ...

Someone asked about the battery model and I'm curious to know the answer as well.

PSP-1000
PSP-1000G1
PSP-1000G1CW
PSP-1000K
PSP-1000KCW

I'm opting for PSP-110...

Don't you know how to take a picture ? LOL 90% of the screen is the table ! Was your aim to capture the shadow of the battery or what ?? Damn... Try switching the phone's resolution to 320x240 (from "Picture size" or something like that) and press up to see if you can zoom in or out.

So the problem was with the formatting program ? Can you please check if msinst.exe and msipl.bin are the same as these ?

msinst.exe
Size - 32.0 KB (32,768 bytes)
MD5 - 4658d3c6f3f97104d5810e2346ebe31c
CRC - D507DDCB

msipl.bin
Size - 236 KB (241,664 bytes)
MD5 ...

Basically, you need to put the msinst.exe + msipl.bin files, AND the "ROOT" folder in "C:\Pandora\".

- Type "cd C:\Pandora"
- Type "format X: /fs:fat32"
- Type "msinst X msipl.bin" From the screenshot provided it would seem your PSP's drive letter is E: ! So you'll use E: instead of X: ...

Then ...

Here's a PDF version of the tutorial. I modified it a little, hope you don't mind. ;) BatteryTutorial.rar

cw3383: Read the damn readme ! That's why it's there.

Edit: I have a question. Do we need the 1.5 update at the root of the MS, or the 3.40/3.50 ? Or does it install 3.71M33 just like that ...

Then you should login from meebo.com (or similar web portals). :) I think iam7805 also uses AIM.
And check your inbox. ;) I've sent you a PM.

Again. Does anyone have the guts to desolder the pin from a Slim battery ?

If you use Yahoo (like me), you can add and chat to MSN users.

hailrazer said "PSp Slim with a Slim battery with pin #5 unsoldered." ! What ?? A PSP SLIM BATTERY ?!
Can anyone confirm this ? I thought Slim batts could not ever ever be converted.

Does it look the same on the inside ?

Yeah... how long does it take you to upload an archive ?
If you're working on a tutorial, it's fine, we'll wait... Just let us know about it.

And I hope you'll stuff in some files (and/or info) on how to UNBR1CK a Slim.

9. Copy all files from memory card, rar it, sent to us:)
YES ! PLEASE DO ! Just don't forget the hidden files, because if you copy all the files on the memory stick, you only copy those you see. Here's what you need to do first:

For WinXP, might work on Vista (but I hate Vista and can't confirm ...

I hope you can shed some light...

http://img230.imageshack.us/img230/614/chipbd5.gif

1. Is this picture accurate ?

2. What if I were to *accidentally* shortcircuit pins 5 and 6 ? Would that render the battery unusable ?
Even if there's no juice left ? I mean, total 0% after 24h between two ...
