Once again, you can magnet the harddrive to wipe ALL of the data including partitions, it is 100% safe and 100% reliable. I've done it for 2 of my Xbox HDDs already

been tracing the pins thru, and looks like the streetfighter 'two control pad' and the sonic 'one control pad' are fairly similar
