A quick idea:
If you are going to make an N64p, why don't you try creating the portable first. After you are finished, you can decide how you are going to stuff it in a case. Designing your dream portable isn't going to help create it.

timmeh87 - You were right. I desoldered the controller from the console and it worked again. Every time I try to solder the the controller, the system doesn't turn on. I thought I lost it twice... Now I just like the opening music of ...

Hmm. I'm actually not quite sure that it is dead yet. Every so often if I plug the system in, the light goes on for about five seconds. So, I guess I'll try the things listed in the troubleshooting sticky. Thanks for the tips, guys!

I just started an n64p yesterday (and fried it today). I just have a few questions before I order my second N64... :roll:

I have no idea how it broke; it was working fine until I tested it after soldering the controller to the first port. It acually switched on and I put in the game ...
