The only thing I can think of is theres a short on your mobo somewhere. The only thing I can think of is to just test everything to do with your controller. I am sure you'll find something.

That dose sound odd. I really cant see why that would be. If there's no short on the connections on the controller cabling it must be something on the mother board. Have you tested with the console on as well as off?

Hmm. Well it pretty much has to be a ground leak some where. You should trace it back to see where the problem lays. But I guess you've tried that.

If I remember rightly the ground on the back of the ribbon connector is next to the select then start. You might find that you've shorted them. Make ...

So what is the state of your controller now? Whats it doing/not doing??

I've been geting quite a few emails with people wanting the ps2 controller mod. But its a pretty long winded and stress full job. So if I ever buid another for someone, I'd have to say it would be in the $750/800 ball park. I have enough other jobs to keep me busy ...

Yeah I think there was a tilt add on. The kid that buit the mod have never made anything befor so it was pretty cool to see him come up with something like that.
