actually, quite a few games ONLY use the pressure sensitive part of the L/R buttons.....games like Metroid Prime 1/2, Zelda WW for the R button, I think RE4, and certainly more games.....so if you do decide to use a PS1/PS2 controller for your GCp, make sure you can still plug in a first player ...

I think I'll order it and see, if it is a chip it shouldn't be too dificult incorporate the chip into a GCp.. But what of the L and R buttons, don't they need to be pressure sensitive?

It doesn't appear to have any place for a chip to convert the signals is it just changing the pinout? From reading Gamelvr's thread about his GCp I wouldn't think the L and R buttons would work. Does this mean a PS2 ...
