Anyone know where you can get JUST the connector on the NES end of a family convertor? The would be a NES 72-pin female. Thanks.

OK...looking at the book, I see that once I remove the RF box, I need a 7805 regulator for power/ground. Does anyone know the RadioShack part # to replace the stock NES power jack? I plan on using the stock NES power adaptor, so finding a jack identical to the NES stocker would make this easier.

Palms and laptop screens are mass produced, but more importantly the same screen on a palm is on some other devices. You might get lucky and have no need for McGyver if you can find a controller board for the same LCD that accepts composite somewhere else. Odds are low but worth a shot.

i dont know how much the site you where talking about sells them, but you can get them for ~$25 shipped off of ioffer.com, a buy/sell/trade place, kinda like a ghetto ebay.

I was thinking of swaping them out in a NOAC circuit, and there's no more then 5 volts anywhere on the board so i figured it would be possible. Most of the caps from what i can tell are for smoothing out the current so i think it should work, tell me how i'm wrong.

I was wondering if there's any special stuff i should concider besides the piezoelectric effect if I wanted to swap out electrolytic capacitors for ceramic ones....

I'll take the pentium for ~$5 + shipping.
