Anyone have any spare sony PS1 LCD boards?

I've been trying to get the ps1 screens to run off 12v but i belive that i have ended up frying my 2 boards that i have, that i bought to use in a car video project i have in mind. What i was wondering is if anyone might have some spare boards that you would want to sell, i don't need the lcd since ...

so where exactly would i have to wire the 7808s in order for it to accept a 12V input? somewhere between the 12V source and the 7805's?

I've been wondering this too myself, since i'd rather just wire it directly into a 12V source that i have in my car, then trying to wire up something to reduce it to 7.5 before it hits the lcd monitor.
