Thanks! That makes a lot of sense. I was thinking of getting the Ybo Neo-Fami famicom clone. It's gotten pretty good reviews, having a good A/V out and whatnot. I could just build a custom case for it (it's awfully small), and rewire the controller inputs to take the traditional NES ...

I have one of these clones, it works fine but the sound sucks. It's prone to crashing too. Any suggestions for a similar but good sounding/well built NOAC? My area's devoid of video game shops

Interesting concept--I came up with a few ideas just lookin at the pic.

I'd like to make my own. Anyone seen the NES or Famicom guts being sold in America? I live on the west coast and don't have a meijers to visit.
