To my knowledge, fuses don't typically attenuate a signal though. They mearly provide just enough continuity for the inputted signal to pass through it. Anything over the rated amount is what blows the fuse.

I think you guys may be right on the money here. On the board there are two components marked PS1 and PS2 and they are outlined in a box on the board. There is right around 7.5V on each of them on the side closest to the point of entry (master connection) but on the other side I get 0.0V on the PS1 ...

It appears the problem is something else. I tested for 7.5V to be present at the 7805 and it is not. It is not present at any of the three that are on the board (they look the same).

At this point I believe it to be a lost cause, as there is really no way what-so-ever to trace the signal flow on ...

has anyone been able to find a schematic on the control board. It would make troubleshooting a heck of a lot easier actually knowing the signal flow of the board.

Where is the best place to pick one up in the states? Is this something that a radio shack would have?

Asking, cause I live in Belgium and cannot think of the first place to go for something like that. I don't speak the local language.
