Is this alright for a battery pack? 8 AAs. 8 Duracell AA batteries. I have them in a case which then has one of those 9 volt connectors at the top and two wires at the end. Where do I solder that too? I'm pretty sure the thingy is where I solder the switch to so I'm going to solder that now. Still ...

Someone did his differently than in the diagram. It looks like he directly hooked his batteries up to the snes, and then installed a switch for power.

so i have to desolder the 7805 and solder the two wires in place? and do i have to get a new dc jack or is there some way to have the current dc jack work again?

i have a 3 way switch and a battery pack, can anyone give me a simple step by step guide on what i have to do.

in my picture theyre to the left of the dc power jack. im not talking about IGD the 7805 but the one with the P3 over it. to the left of the 7805

oh and which one side is negative and which side is positive.

okay definetly keeping that. gonna desolder the two stripes then solder the wires on to them. is that it for powering the snes board? is it that simple?
