Sorry, I fixed the post. I meant LCD mod.
I tried installing a new LCD screen on it.

Looks like my problem might have been getting the wrong monitor. I tried using it on my Genesis through the av cables and the picture still showed in black and white.

I tried to do the Nomad LCD mod. It seemed simple enough, only four wires, but somehow things are messed up. The screen is somewhat garbled, in black and white and flashes on and off along with the power light. I've re seated the ribbon cable multiple times, and resolderd the wires a few times. The ...

I have already switched out the caps. That's why I'm feeling a little more adventurous to try out another mod for it. Know what points I would solder a second speaker to? Or what speaker to buy for it. Maybe I could upgrade the speakers while I'm at it. I got myself a few broken systems to play with.
