I recommend first finding a spot on the board with a multimeter that gives an ample source of 5 V. (At least 3-5 V.) Then wire up the LED's with a resistor...let me try to make a diagram.

Any suggestions on LEDs to use?

I'm figuring about 4-6 10,000MCD 3mm LEDs would do the trick

Why not LED mod it?

I REALLY would like to do this, it seems to be the best alternative
and I can have some fun with it in the process
I've been slowly but surely modding the xbox so why not mod the screen

Only problem is, I'm not sure where to start or how to wire it in yet

All I found was more full units, mostly new
If I had a part number for the LCD, inverter and backlight I'd be able to find one

but the guy @ Intec says they don't have that info

Does anyone know where I can get a replacement backlight for this screen
The Backlight would shut off after 30 min and now it is dead completely
I called Intec and they said there are no spare parts and they do not repair them

If anyone could help me it woulod be greatly appreciated
