Perspex Window in the back. Side window was done, but i dont think im happy with it yet so i won't be posting just yet.

Finished the rear plate and put some rivets into it to hold into place. Getting me motivated to finish and im trying to beat the baby before it comes.

More work on the rear plate, cut away some of the PCI brackets

Side Window

Wasnt sure if i was going to go with a window but i went with something small and not over the top. Might in the future make a complete perspex side panel as a spare.

Just fits, i managed to squeeze the aluminium behind the case and the motherboard for a nice and clean finish, looks better then having it on the outside of the case, i will try and get some thinner aluminium and re cut to fit better.

I/O Plate

Starting work on the rear of the case. I would prefer some thinner aluminium but its what i could get for free at work. I was going to use 2 pieces and place them between the original rear part of the case. Still not 100% sure what i will be doing. Will be painted black when finished ...

Mounted the 2 Momentary Switches, i couldnt spend the $40+ on Black Vandal switches.

Filled the original holes to fit the 19mm Switches

5 Weeks till i become a father, so i need to start putting in the time to finish this build.

Idiot - Sata Cable was plugged into the HDD Sata Port. I honestly thought i double checked everything.

Red Dot of Death

E70 Error Disc Drive Problems havent seen it in to many Xbox's but it seems to relate to the disc drive.

More progress i have put a bit of time in to the case today gettting some bits and pieces finished.

I re painted a few things today. There is to many different blacks in the case, i wanted to keep it all a Matte Black Finish

I have progress but not all of it can be seen, just been organising everything so it all fits back together, some wire management to keep it all looking neat.

Disc Drive had to be raised up. It will be held in place with 3M Velco, its a lot stronger then you may think

Now you can see how the LED's underneath the motherboard show, not to bright.

Progress is picking up, still a lot to do but slowly getting there. i dont want to rush it and not be happy with the end result.

I will be going with a window on the left and the mesh on the right but with a radius on the corners. There will be more to see, still working on ideas. Possibly a motherboard cover ( black tinted perspex ) to make the green less obvious.
