Well now I understand how the Ham Guy can spend years playing and tuning antennas...from the outside.. looking mechanically antennas are very simple looking.. but there is so many factors involved..just look at what happened with the I-Phone...that would of been a prime candidate for a fractional ...

I'm not sure what you mean by fractals ?

do you mean reproducing design dimensions...accurately. since wifi is in the microwave frequencies?

or fractal antenna design which is a new area of micro antennas design they are starting to use for multi frequency antennas?

P know what you mean by testing.. I have tried the usual cantenna biquad.. thing..and have also build a large cardboard horn atenna.. but I have not been able to really test the performance of the items.. i have also tried a circle patch and the curtain quad and a mod mulitable quad from digdice ...
