Apparently it's quite a simple procedure, but like I said I'd need a diagram anyway, or in-depgh description. I'm quite suprised that no-one much has heard of this...

Hmmm... how come I have to mess with the memory card port? Others just run temselves with no controller mods.

I've got the official Gamecube scart, but on the switchbox for RGB mode, the screen blanks. I'm wondering if I should get another proper scart (so I've got one for GC, one for N64) or plump for the cheaper composite.

Composite scart lead - any point in proper scart?

Now, I know that the later consoles have no RGB capability, I read on a thread here that only the original 96 model did, but I've got one of the much later coloured models.

What I'm wondering is that bearing in mind that the N64 has no RGB ability, does having a proper scart lead as opposed to ...
