Even if I am removing all the top vents?

I'm making a wooden enclosure for my Nintendo 64 out of oak, and giving it wicker paneling for the front, and steel side vents.
However, I'm worried about ventilation. How many fans will it need, and should there be holes in the bottom? The quieter, and more aesthetic the solution, the better ...
