For what it's worth, I did search, but found most of the threads about as helpful as this one.

After a while, though, I found a pattern. It goes like this:

Original Poster: "Can I use my busted laptop screen for a portable?"

Reply #1: "No. Well, maybe, but it's really hard and no one's done it ...

I've got a couple of laptop screens that have been sitting around for a long time collecting dust. I've been searching for info about how to make a console laptop or portable out of them, but it seems there is precious little information.

Anyone know if a laptop screen can be hooked to a console ...
